New Patients
Private Patients
We are currently taking on private patients. We offer a full range of private dental services at very competitive prices. Please contact us for further information or a list of private fees.
NHS Patients
Our NHS list is currently closed.
Patient who are on the current list and are accepted, need to be seen for a check up. We are unable to provide dental care to a patient unless a check up has been carried out. Please be aware we are inundated with requests to join the practice and as a consequence, you may have to wait several weeks to secure an appointment.
Making an Appointment
Please contact us on 01372 275265 to book an appointment. Please note due to overwhelming demands on our NHS services appointments are booking 4 weeks in advance. Treatments are booking 3-6 months ahead.
Finding the Surgery
Please visit our Contact Us page for our address and a map of how to get to the surgery. There are 4 parking spaces available at the front of the surgery on the forecourt. Due to the area being residential, we kindly request that parking is restricted to the forecourt or on the public road outside. PLEASE DO NOT park in the private road alongside the surgery, our neighbours get very upset as you are trespassing on private land.
Your First Visit to the Surgery
Please arrive 5 minutes early for your first appointment as there are a few forms that require completion prior to treatment. Please also bring along a full list of ALL medication that you are taking, to ensure we are able to treat you safely.
If you are exempt from NHS dental treatment fees, you MUST bring evidence along to support this at every appointment, otherwise your treatment will be fully chargeable and you will have to claim a refund from DWP using the form we can provide to you. We are unable to keep this information, therefore it is required at every appointment. Please note a medical exemption card does not entitle you to free dental treatment.
If you are a nervous patient please do let us know and we will do what we can to help. In addition if you need access to a downstairs surgery please notify us when booking your appointment.
Payment
All treatment costs are payable on the day of treatment. Where extensive or costly treatment is carried out, a deposit is payable in advance and the balance upon completion. The cost can be spread out by paying in installments in advance of treatment, but the balance must be cleared before treatment can be completed.
Hygienist appointments are charged on a private basis and are charged at the time of booking your appointment. If an appointment with the hygienist is missed or cancelled without enough notice, this is chargeable. Please note we request 48 hours notice to cancel an appointment.
We take payments by cash, cheque and credit cards, we are unable to accept AMEX
